The Seeds were a highly influential American garage rock band with a heavy dose of psychedelia, led by Sky Saxon. 

This is their second album, released in 1966 and although it didn't chart, history shows it was a new direction in rock music that would be picked up and developed by the likes of the Velvet Underground. 

It is quite odd, the 14-minute 'Up In Her Room' is perhaps their definitive number.
